Psychotherapy for Children, Teens, and Adults
Specializing in Anxiety, OCD, and Divorce & Family Transitions
About Julia
Julia Gallucci, LMFT, provides compassionate therapeutic support across all ages, specializing in young children, teens, and parents. She has extensive experience treating anxiety and OCD, supporting neurodivergent clients, and helping children navigate the challenges of parental separation and divorce.
Julia provides Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD, and works with both youth and adults struggling with intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors.
Before becoming a therapist, Julia spent over two decades working in primatology and primate behavior research, including work with chimpanzees in sanctuary settings. Studying primate social groups deepened her understanding of nonverbal communication, nervous system regulation, and the ways relationships shape behavior. This background informs how she understands attachment, co-regulation, and the deeply social nature of human learning and development.
Julia welcomes referrals from therapists seeking specialized treatment for OCD or support for children navigating anxiety and family transitions.
